Offshore Africa Magazine Announces New Advisory Board

As part of it growth journey, Offshore Africa has announced its new Advisory Board, comprising some of the best known, and highly experienced industry leaders. The Advisory Board will provide advice and input to support the energy publication’s management and editorial teams as they embark on an exciting phase of growth and innovation.

The new Advisory Board comprises of:

  • Mr. Joe Mensah, Vice President/ Country Director, Kosmos Energy—Chairman
  • Mr. Theo Ahwireng, Managing Director, MODEC Ghana— Vice Chairman
  • Mr. M.C. Vasnani, Chief Executive Officer, CONSHIP– Member
  • Wumi Illedare, Professor Emeritus, Petroleum Economist – Member
  • Mr. Charles Laba, Executive Chairman, GMEA Group— Member

Offshore Africa Magazine was first published at the end of 2010 and has continued to gain momentum and growth I’m honored to welcome this group of talented and vastly experienced leaders who will provide the expertise and advice to help us to the next phase of our growth. I am very confident that this combined knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to upend the industry and put the readers at the focus of everything we do,” noted Offshore Africa’s founder and CEO Gilbert Da Costa.

Offshore Africa is working to expand the number of subscribers to its digital editions and regular online updates. The Advisory Board is to serve for a three-year period, ending in 2026
